Payment / Shipping
You can pay for your membership with Bank transfer, credit card or PayPal and PayPal also offers credit card payment without a PayPal account.
If you have Apple Pay on your Apple device, we also offer payment through Apple Pay.
We hope you understand that we cannot accept payment any other way and do not offer instalments.
Payments must be made in Euro if you live in the European Union. If you live outside the E.U., we also accept payment in US$ (see details below). It is important to switch the shop currency to the currency you prefer in the top Menu ("€ EUR" or “$ USD”).
Bank transfer: Transferring money within Europe via SEPA is easy and cheap. We will send an email confirmation once the money is in our account. Internationally, Wise* offers a great way to transfer money at low fees and fair exchange rates. Please note that the transfer can take a few days, and therefore please start the transfer as soon as possible as only completely paid applications can be considered for Club membership.
Paypal: is probably the most convenient way to pay online all over the world. PayPal also offers payment with credit card without requiring a Paypal account. Please note, that PayPal only accepts payment in Euro.
Payment in US Dollars (if you are a knitter outside the E.U. - for example USA, Canada):
You can also pay for your membership in US-Dollars and potentially save a lot on exchange fees. We will update the exchange rate daily based on the mid-market value of the Euro. If you want to pay in US Dollars, please switch the shop to "$ USD" in the top menu first.
Bank transfer US$: The transfer can be done as a cheap ACH bank transfer to our account based in the USA. Bank transfer in the US using ACH is easy and usually free (contact your checking account bank for details). After sign-up is completed, you will get an email with all the account details. Please transfer the money as soon as possible in order to confirm your membership. Internationally, TransferWise* offers a great way to transfer money at low fees and fair exchange rates.
Credit Card and Apple Pay: We also accept payment in US-Dollars directly with your credit card or Apple Pay.
The price for the Strickmich! Club membership already includes the cost of shipping your Club package and the printed patterns if applicable.
We will ship the Club packages with Deutsche Post, DHL or FedEx. We choose the shipping company depending on current conditions in a country/region and Club members have no influence on the choice of shipping provider. We also reserve the right to switch to other logistics companies.
We will try to ship the Strickmich! Club worldwide to many countries. If your country is not listed in the address choices, please send an email to info(at)strickmich-club.de. Due to the COVID-19 conditions, we might not be able to ship to some countries, regions or specific addresses. If this the case, we will contact you and work on a solution or refund your membership accordingly.
HOWEVER, we cannot guarantee that your package will get through customs in your country. Even though we did not encounter any problem in the last 7 years, we are not able to check any possible country for its import regulations, taxes and laws. As Peter has to organize shipping alone, we also cannot add any additional documents, translations, certificates etc. which might be required by your country. Please ask your customs authorities before ordering the Club.
Also, please note that when ordering from abroad you are still responsible for any import fees, local taxes etc. in your country. Examples from the past (without guarantee, please check) show that people in the USA did not have to pay any import fees because of a high duty-free threshold. On the other hand, members in Canada had to pay the 5% Goods and Services Tax or their HST etc..
Shipping other products (not Club packages)
Single orders (e.g. for extra yarn) will be shipped with DHL, Deutsche Post or FedEx. Shipping cost will be calculated based on the weight of the package by country and shown in the shopping cart and during check-out. For some countries, a choice of shipping companies with different service levels and speed will be presented.
The shipping cost within the E.U. will include VAT. For shipments outside the E.U. all prices do not include VAT.
We have a lot of experience shipping to the countries we are offering service to (from our Strickmich! Club) and so far have not encountered any problems in shipping. However, please note that when ordering from abroad you are still responsible for any import fees, local taxes etc in your country. We are not able to check any possible country for its import regulations, taxes and laws. Packages shipping to non-E.U. countries will contain an international CN-22 or CN-23 customs form as well as the purchasing invoice which is usually enough but we cannot add any additional documents, translations, certificates etc. which might be required by your country. When in doubt, please ask your customs authorities before ordering.
